About the show
Inglewood Open Studios (IOS) is partnering with Black House LA to present the Small Works Pop-Up. We are also working on a program schedule to accompany the exhibition. We invite your suggestions on topics you are interested in, or to propose your own presentation or workshop
Eligibility Requirements
• Applicants must have participated in a previous IOS Art Walk, or have a significant connection to Inglewood.
• Artists must be visual artists exhibiting unique artwork.
• Artists may be professional, emerging, or student artists.
Guidelines for Artworks
• All media is welcome, including: painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textiles, mixed media, video, and performance.
• 2D Artwork must not exceed 16 inches in any dimension, including frame.
• Each Artist may enter only one artwork.
• 2D artwork should be ready for hanging on nail or screw.
• If a pedestal is needed for 3D work, the artist must provide it.
• 3D works can potentially be placed on an outdoor patio. If you want your work outside, you may propose that below with the image submission.
• Video display equipment must be supplied by the artist.
• There will be a 20% commission on all sales that will go to supporting Black House LA

Exhibition Schedule
Drop off work: Tuesday November 4
Reception: Friday, November 7, 2025
Exhibition & Activities: Sat-Sun, November 8-9
Deinstall: Monday, November 10
Exhibition will be held at Black House LA
1108 N. La Brea Ave.
Black House LA is an IOS community parter, hosting several artists for the 2024 Art Walk. Founded and directed by former LA County Arts commissioner Pamela Bright-Moon, the Moon Global Foundation, Inc. mission is to provide access to a creative environment, with an opportunity to participate in programs in the fields of media and arts to enhance skills and prepare for careers in the entertainment and art industries. Black House LA is a program of Moon Global Foundation to create a residency space for artists from the African Diaspora.
Black House LA is partnering with IOS to provide gallery space at no cost to us.
