Group Show

Curated by Carmen Acosta, Creative Director of Hollywood Park, the group show features work by art walk artists. Art is available for sale and a portion of the proceeds will support IOS programming. Opening reception on Friday, Nov. 10, 4-7 pm. KPFK's DJ Emiliano Miranda will spin tunes and refreshments will be provided by Fiesta Martin.

TFX: The Flowlicious Experience

The Flowlicious Experience (TFX) is a creative and collaborative event designed to foster creative community engagement through various artistic expressions. Spearheaded by acclaimed poet and IOS Advisory Board member Adwin David Brown, TFX aims to create an immersive atmosphere where participants can explore their creativity, connect with local talents, and build meaningful connections within the community. As part of the Inglewood Open Studios (IOS) initiative, TFX will transform spaces at the Miracle Theatre into a hub of artistic energy, bringing together artists, painters, poets, musicians, DJs, spoken word performers, storytellers, and craftspeople.

Student Art Exhibition

 IOS organizes and facilitates exhibition opportunities for local youth, which create inspirational peer to peer opportunities. IOS board members provide professional mentorship as part of this process. The 2023 student show will feature  young artists from nearby community colleges and high schools and Otis College of Art & Design.

Concourse

Concourse is a pop-up space for artists without publicly accessible studios and is organized by IOS Advisory Board Member Minna Philips. It provides these artists with an opportunity to have their work on view during both days of the annual IOS Art Walk. This year, 18 Inglewood artists will be featured.

The Hyde Parkside

The Hyde Parkside is an exhibition of work by 10 local artists organized by IOS board member Jorge 'Thriller' Gómez. Screen Printing 101 Workshop by Schessa Garbutt on Saturday, Nov.11, 4-5 pm. Dog adoption and painting activity

Inglewood animal rescue organization the Lovejoy Foundation will host a dog adoption event. For information on the application process, please visit lovejoyfoundation.org. At the same location, South Park Doggie Pawcademy , a local dog day care and enrichment facility, will offer a creative activity for canines. Both events will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11
