Much of what we do is free, artist-led and open to any artist working in Inglewood.
Current opportunities
The Willie Stoffer Visual Artist Grant and Art Walk 2026 are currently accepting applications. Future group-show calls and other artist opportunities will appear here when they open.
DEADLINE OCTOBER 25, 2026 · 11:45PM
Each recipient receives $1,800 to support their studio practice and conduct a related arts workshop at an Inglewood school or youth organization. Current IOS membership is required.
DEADLINE OCTOBER 15
Apply to participate in the November 14–15 Art Walk. Current IOS membership is required; registration is $15 in August, $25 in September and $35 in October.

INQUIRE WITHIN
An opportunity to meet regularly with a group of fellow artists to discuss your work and give and get feedback.
The Critique Group is not currently meeting. IOS is gauging interest from Inglewood artists before restarting it.
THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Gatherings throughout the year where Inglewood artists can meet fellow artists and IOS board members.
AS OPPORTUNITIES ARISE
Curated group exhibitions create opportunities for Inglewood artists to show work together, including past projects such as the Small Works pop-up and Contemplating CA.
Creative programs
The Willie Stoffer Visual Artist Grant supports Inglewood artists and related youth workshops, while the Art Walk Student Show creates another pathway for young artists to participate.
A live collaborative creative experience developed by Inglewood artist Adwin Brown, featured at past Art Walks.
Space for artists without publicly accessible studios to take part in the Art Walk.
Funding
These programs are funded by grants, membership and donations. Membership helps fund artist opportunities, youth workshops and the annual Art Walk while keeping the Art Walk free to the public.
