Small Works - Pop Up Group Show
We partnered with Black House LA to present the Small Works Pop-Up. Alongside the exhibition, a program schedule was developed to accompany the event, incorporating community input through suggested topics, presentations, and workshops.
The reception was held on Friday, November 7, 2025, followed by exhibition hours and activities on Saturday and Sunday, November 8–9.
The exhibition took place at Black House LA, located at 1108 N. La Brea Ave. As an IOS community partner, Black House LA had previously hosted several artists for the 2024 Art Walk. Founded and directed by former LA County Arts Commissioner Pamela Bright-Moon, Moon Global Foundation, Inc. aimed to provide access to a creative environment where participants could build skills and prepare for careers in the entertainment and art industries. Black House LA, a program of Moon Global Foundation, was created as a residency space for artists from the African Diaspora.

Willie Stoffer - Visual Artist Grant
About the Grant
The IOS Willie Stoffer Visual Artist Grant is supported with an annually occurring gift from the Stoffer family. Willie battled a rare white blood cell disease called Histiocitosis X throughout his childhood and passed away at age 27 from brain cancer. He was fearless and spread joy wherever he went, always remaining positive, even in the toughest of times. He had many passions, including a love for the arts. The arts were a big part of his life, including attending art school in his young adult life. He felt lucky to have access to art classes throughout grade school and high school and would be grateful to support access for others. This grant honors Willie by providing funding for Inglewood artists to support their studio practice and to share their work with local youth.
