Katrice Creates

I’m Katrice, an Inglewood-based artist working in sculpture and mixed media. My creative practice is rooted in texture, movement,color, and the transformation of materials. Whether I’m shaping clay or building layers on canvas, I approach my work with a sculptor’s instinct, allowing dimension and tactile elements to become part of the story.

My mixed-media paintings combine acrylics, resin, metallic pigments, crystals, and other textural materials to create surfaces that shift with light and invite a closer look. I.m inspired by nature, spirituality, feminine energy, pattern, and the beauty found in transformation.

After a career in radiologic technology, I returned to a lifelong connection with art and began building a practice centered on exploration and making with my hands. Today, my work moves freely between sculpture and painting, always guided by curiosity, intuition, and the joy of turning ordinary materials into something unexpected.
